Pier 70 Bethlehem Steel Foundry

Since the 1880s, Buildings 115 and 116 have served as a foundry, blacksmith shop, and warehouse. At the time of redevelopment, these structures were open to the elements and were badly deteriorated, with rotten wooden windows and spalling concrete. Renovation included installing new, metal windows with custom-extruded mullions to match the original window profile, treatment of exposed rebar for rust, and extensive concrete repair.

Today, the buildings are home to innovative development, production, and design uses.
